RESEARCH TOPIC :
The basic back yard house, “Small House Movement” which is two storey urban house constructed from lightweight carbon fiber. It is capable of harvesting water from rain and snow; storing and processing it. In clusters the houses form climatic and communal micro-ecologies, protecting each other from harsh winds, sharing heat sinks, and developing intimate exterior spaces that can be shared by all the inhabitants.
The house also has an integrated living machine that filters and processes water using the principles of wetlands. This maintains clean water for the inhabitant as well as a greenhouse garden on the entry level.
